1. Manual welding

Small workpieces are often welded using manual workstations, such as welding jewelry or repair tools.

2. Application

Sometimes, laser beams only need to be welded along a single axis of movement. For example, pipe welding or seam welding using seam welding machines or tube welding systems.

3. System and robot

The laser beam usually connects three-dimensional parts characterized by a three-dimensional welding geometry. Five-axis coordinate-based laser unit and a set of movable optical fittings.

4. Galvanometer scanner or remote welding

Galvanometer guides the laser beam at a great distance from the workpiece, whereas in other welding methods, the optical lens guides the laser beam very close to the workpiece.

Galvanometer scanners rely on one or two movable mirrors to quickly position the laser beam, so that the time required to reset the beam between the welds is close to 0, increasing productivity, suitable for the production of large numbers of short welds, and can optimize the welding sequence to ensure minimal heat input and distortion.

5. Remote welding system

There are two ways to implement a remote welding system. The first is a remote welding system. The workpiece is placed in the working area under the scanning galvanometer and then welded. When welding a large number of parts in a short period of time, the parts are continuously transported by the machine under the optical galvanometer, a process called flight welding.
